It is simply a pleasure to see that some of our favorite musicians are going green with their tours by using sustainable fuel and taking other eco-friendly steps to do their share for the environment. Anyone that supports an environmentally friendly movement with that much influence deserves a standing ovation. It is a well-known fact that rock festivals and rock shows are usually pretty messy and with their presence these musicians motivate us to make a greener decision when attending a show where they are performing and in our everyday lives. They show us that by taking the smallest steps we are making a difference and doing a bit from our side to leave a little earth for the next generation. Here are a few of these eco-friendly musicians and the things they do to make a difference.
This guy has two solar-powered studios and takes it a step further at his live performances. His tour buses run on sustainable biodiesel and his merchandise is also eco-friendly. Jack also promotes ride-sharing to his concerts seeing that vehicles have a huge negative impact on the environment.

These guys are a lot of fun but they are also pretty serious about the environment, they use eco-friendly items on their tours and also carbon offsets for all their tour vehicles. It is quite admirable to see that they recycle on and off the stage.
This amazing and talented musician has been promoting green for quite some time. He sells organic t-shirts and recycled CD covers at his live performances. He is an absolute philanthropist and a person that believes in going green.
This lady is brilliant with all her green implementations. All her vehicles are running on sustainable biodiesel fuel. She constantly promotes energy saving methods and even promotes recycling at her concerts. She also serves organic and healthy food at every concert backstage.
This fantastic band is actually part of a movement called Global Cool, fighting global warming one step at a time by promoting energy saving methods and reducing our carbon impact. They also firmly believe in composting which is something we can quite easily do by taking all the wasted food and other composting items and using it for a better purpose like composting.
