Paintball looks and sounds like one of the most entertaining leisure activities out there. However, this game requires the players to be quick, witty and vigilant at all times. But for those of you who run a paintball pitch, how do you get your players ready for the game? Why, with a cracking music playlist, of course! Just as it has been portrayed in several movies and even television series, some great music will definitely get you to switch your pro mode on. Without a doubt, it will have players swarm in to your paintball arena more often, which is crucial for good business.
- Headstrong – Trapt
“Back off, I’ll take you on
Headstrong to take on anyone
I know that you are wrong
And this is not where you belong”
If the section of the lyrics that has been mentioned above does not fill you with a sense of positive vibe and a will to slay, we do not know what else will.
- How You Like Me Now – The Heavy
Personally, this has got to be one of our favorites, having appeared in the movie “This Means War” in a paintballing scene. Needless to say, Tom Hardy killed it, smoothly and successfully shooting all the paintball players and capturing the flag. Released in 2009, this song was also used by the Republican presidential candidate named Newt Gingrich. Additionally, How You Like Me Now was featured in other movies such as “Transporter Refueled” and “Horrible Bosses” and even “The Ted”.
- Explosive – Bond
An impeccable piece from the group of four, this 2004 track will have your heart racing with the ever-increasing tempo.
- Bodies – Drowning Pool
Chant away “Let the bodies hit the floor” as you drop players to the ground, left and right. A nu metal song released in 2001, this killer song was used in “Jason X”, a movie about our favorite slasher, Jason Voorhees. Additionally, the trailer of “The Punisher” also made use of this song.
- Welcome to the Jungle – Guns n Roses
Listening to Axl Rose stating that he wants to “see you bleed” is exactly what you need during a paintball battle. A rollercoaster ride of a song, Welcome to the Jungle was penned by Axl Rose himself, getting featured in Guns n Roses’ album during 1987.
- Down with the Sickness – Disturbed
A song from the year 2000, Down with the Sickness will make crave human flesh. We are only joking! However, it is a fact that would feel driven to kick some butt on the paintball field while this masterpiece is playing. Without a doubt, this is another of our favorites that does not fail to get us all pumped up and ready for some action on the paintball battlefield.
